There was something about todays political shadow theatre that garnered my attention , much as I would rather simply reflect, "Oh, Fascism as usual," and go on about my way, I was brought to realizations that this was not Fascism as usual but the next heating notch being raised in the political frog soup being so indifferently prepared by the "powers that be".

Waking early I had bareley pounded down a bong toke and sipped a little tea, when perusing a little "morning edition" on National Public Radio brought me the startling news of some plot just discovered that featured the dreaded "Dirty Bomb" scenario,, for some space of a few seconds I took it seriously until the sadly familiar voice of Ascroft took up the tale. Now this is a voice which employs stentorian tones of a certain timbre that cries out clearly that all that is being said is simply a lie. A voice whose textures reveal a low animal cunning that somehow acknowledges that only the deep dyed "Sheeple" would swallow his lines whole, but smirking throughout safe in the knowledge that, in fact the effect will be adequate.

As the crafty one added some little detail and the NPR commentators followed along, demonstrating all seriousness scrambling to que up so called experts on this particular subset of "terrorist" potential. It all began to come a bit clearer, the passing actual concern was dissipated pretty rapidly as they reported that the accused one had been under wraps for month, and further that he had been ratted out by some Alquaeda former big wig snitch,, that they were announcing this now as he was being transferred today into military custody.

One begins to speculate whether the bushites have a whole roster of demons on ice that they can whip out to influence whatever news cycle is going. Perhaps among those thousands they netted week one of the war on truth and reality.

One imagines the CIA FBI whichever has perhaps this guy on tape talking about dirty bombs perhaps merely reports of same, whatever, the way this thing rolls out dude is not the accused or suspected anything he is the Dirty Bomb terrorist period. If not, then why is he labeled a unofficial combatant or whatever term it is they use for such. You know they will never be forced to tell exactly how they found all of this out oh no that would be a total breach of security. In my opinion this guy was set up from jump by AlQuida, far better to demonstrate some turn coat American in the fray looks bad politically, "look your own citizens want to destroy your land of Satan" blah blah. I doubt that the insular arabs that run that scene would ever trust some American who just joined up, either in the security sense or in competence or commitment.

Lest I give the impression that I see the U.S. Gov. running some smooth plot to gain total control let me assure you that my view is rather one of people in power not capable of making coherent appreciations of or descions pertaining to series of situations spinning faster and faster out of control.

Life on the political level is become a virtual cornucopia of unintended consequences. This glaring disconnect between the stated principles and the unrestrained conduct as applied is not lost on observers especially those in countries designated to experience either the brutal reality of conflict or those in countries construed to be friends or allies whose particular agendas are often subverted by that relationship.

In the current fandango the vastly understated yet all pervasive factor is oil, it is the classic addictive paradigm, the denial the dysfunction the perceived grinding need all these are in play. That is a scenario that leads to countries valuing their resources in such a way as to provide economic support for all its citizens, or worse yet should some democratic cabal arise countries might band together in some mutual self help conspiracy where they begin to think they have as much right to the better things in life as the dominant white tribes of Europe and the USA.

The predictable outcome of supporting the worst elements in this mix is that the people in these various countries get pissed off, both at the locals war lords but at the producer and seller of the arms that repress them as well.

To this volatile mix of hypocrisy and hype is yet another and perhaps the most diabolical aspect ,that would of course be Isreal and its represasion and occupation of the indigenous Palestinians. Once again we have the dualistic judgmental and hypocritical display refined yet another degree into patent absurdity of concepts like "Gods Chosen People". That it was considered a good idea for Isreal having successfully expelled the main body of its indigenous arabs in 1947 would find it some how advantageous to reincircle so many of the former inhabitants in Gaza and the west bank following the 1967 war I will to history to explain. One wonders if it was not the lure to recontrol such places as Bethlehem so redolent with biblical luster that moved the Isrealis to hold so tenaciously to this land , I think the existence and relentless growth of the so called settlements in gaza on the west bank show clearly the long term aims of Isreal. Is there any excuse to wonder why Arabic Islamic types would be willing to lay down their lives in a war against the unreflective best buddie arms supplier and ally of Isreal, esp. when the USA also supports unpopular dictatorships all over the middle east. Fearing not at all to appear idealistic or niave I would say that when Amerikkka begins to apply the concepts of fair play and respect that it seems to manifest somewhat at home, when it learns to project those values for real then over time having made sacrifices of an economic kind this country and the world will begin to reap a harvest of peace and love.
